Angelica's First Chinese New Year

These are a few of the pictures I took during Chinese New Year. Glenn, Angelica, and I didn't get an opportunity to witness any of the evening firework displays, but we certainly enjoyed walking around the Sports' Stadium . . . despite the cold.

The next 2 photos are not at all related to Chinese New Year, but I had to put them in anyway because Angelica is just so cute! One thing that Angelica LOVES to do with her daddy is race up and down our hallway at TOP SPEED! Sorry it's not in focus . . . but it was just too adorable not to post (The Mommy has spoken!).

The photo below captures Angelica's great love for Mae (our Ayi - part-time household helper). Angelica has so much love to give and I am glad that Mae so easily reciprocates. She has been a huge blessing to us!

Angelica is holding on to the 2 helium balloons that our friend, Crystal, gave her when she had croup. Of course Angelica was still all smiles, despite being so sick.

My First Photo Shoot

My friend, Bethany, recently had a beautiful baby boy - Jackson. As you can see, he gets his stunning good looks from his mommy. Well, today was the perfect day to capture their perfection on film. I am truly envious of how wonderfully photogenic they both are...but grateful that she trusted me with such an honour.

Enjoy! I'd love to know what you think, so please feel free to leave a comment.

Yuexiu Park

It turned out be a beautiful day to go exploring after a morning shower, so we ventured over to Yuexiu Park, which is located in central Guangzhou. It hosts some of the city's most famous sights, including the Statue of the Five Rams and Zhenhai Tower. As for myself, it was just nice to spend the day with my husband and the lovely Jelly Belly.

My Little Angel

I can't help myself! I know I am a biased mother, but I think she is the most beautiful baby in my world! These are photos that I've taken of Angelica, mostly in Guangzhou. Thanks for indulging, and not bursting my little bubble of enthusiasm for my gorgeous Jelly Belly.
